We built the flight search
we wished existed
TripHunt started when Harry Yule paid far too much for a flight and realised the market was full of noise, slow tools and fake urgency. TripHunt is the honest alternative: live prices, clear deal scoring and UK-first tools built for travellers who want to book smarter.
From that one
overpriced flight
to your best deal
It was 2021. A trip to Lisbon. I booked what I thought was a fair price — £608 return from a UK airport. A colleague mentioned the same route three days later: she paid £142. Same dates. Same airline.
I spent that whole flight furious. Not at the airline — the prices were public. I was furious at myself for not knowing where to look, and furious at the tools that existed for making it so complicated to find out.
When I got back I started building TripHunt. The idea was simple: pull live prices, score every deal honestly, and surface the genuinely exceptional ones before they disappear — especially error fares, which airlines fix within hours.
We don't inflate "savings" against fake RRPs. We don't bury the best deals behind sign-up walls. We built the thing we actually needed: a straight-talking flight tool that finds real deals, fast.
Today TripHunt focuses on reliable UK route coverage, cleaner booking journeys and transparent deal scoring. It is early, but the mission is clear: help travellers understand when a fare is genuinely good — and act before it disappears.
We make money when you book via our affiliate links — at absolutely no extra cost to you. That alignment matters: we only win if you get a great deal.
Live prices. Real deals. Zero faff.
We connect directly to Google Flights via SerpAPI, score every fare with our deal engine, and surface only the ones worth your attention.
Built on principles,
not dark patterns
TripHunt earns affiliate commissions from Aviasales, hotel partners, insurance providers, and activity platforms (like Klook) when you make a booking via our links. This is how we fund the site and keep it free to use.
This commission never increases the price you pay. The fare you see on TripHunt is the fare you pay. We have no commercial agreements that cause us to rank one airline above another based on commission rates.
Our deal scoring is independent. The Deal Score (0–100) is calculated purely from price history and route data. A high-commission partner with a poor deal gets a low score. A low-commission airline with a remarkable fare gets a high score.
We do not accept payment for editorial placement, sponsored deals, or to suppress competitor routes. Questions? Email hello@triphunt.org.
